Supporting Local Government Leadership
MFA supports professional development opportunities across the province. In addition to sponsoring the annual conventions for both the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) and the Local Government Management Association (LGMA), MFA contributes sponsorship funds to each of individual association and chapter conferences.

Events or programs that meet our criteria to support professional development for BC local government staff and elected officials will be reviewed throughout the calendar year.
