The Government Finance Officers of BC annually offers a 5-day comprehensive overview of municipal finance issues with a focus on providing "real life" practical information and solutions. MFA has been a proud sponsor of "Boot Camp" since its start in 2007. In addition to the valuable sessions provided by GFOABC, the MFA delivers sessions on municipal financing through the MFA with information on the borrowing process and accounting for debt. We are also pleased to offer a presentation by the MFA's Pooled Funds Portfolio Manager from PH&N who reviews fixed income investing. Valuable information is given on how to effectively manage cash flows and preparing an investment policy.
